CMS Wrestling began in 2019–20 under CRHS head coach Nick McCoy. In 2021, Zach Pridemore took over as head coach. In just one year the CMS team had a State 12u Champion, one placer at WSAZ, and won the county championship. Coach Zach is a 2013 graduate of CRHS and resident of Logan county where he played football for 11 years. Besides coaching wrestling he is also an assistant coach on the middle school football team. He currently attends Marshall University where he is majoring in Secondary Education. He is focused on building Chapmanville into a powerhouse wrestling program and making sure it becomes a household name in WV.
