Region 1 AA/A Date

I have heard conflicting stories is Region 1 still a one day tournament or are we back to a 2 day tournament? Just tying to figure out if we need Hotel or not.

How many guests per wrestler in region 1? Region 2 was told today they only get 1 per wrestler because it is being wrestled in one day.

One guest per wrestler is ridiculous!!!!!!!!! So either mom or dad has to stay home.

Nothing has been set for Region I yet. We are going 2 days for Region I Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10.

The 2 day A/AA Region 1 tournament will allow UP TO 4 family members for each wrestler entered in the tournament.
Each school will need to provide a list of wrestlers names and the names of up to 4 of their family members.
Family members can include parents, grandparents or siblings living in the house.

It is causing some problems. Everyone is unhappy but really tough with divorced parents. I know at swim no one was allowed to be there. I’m not sure why they’re not just doing it in two separate days or even two separate sessions in the same day.

Unfortunately, I think the communication is clear. Region 2 A/AA is only allowing one wrestler.
“ Attendance will be limited to 1 person per athlete; however the tournament will be streamed on Facebook through Braxton Live.”
