AAA Individual Rankings - October 11
UPDATED OCTOBER 11, 2018
Last year we went all season long without rankings. Every year, many fans start the season with their “top wrestlers” list but it usually just puts returning wrestlers back in the previous season’s weight classes.
Here is the first individual ranking list for the upcoming season. Important points to consider are as follows:
1. My first source of information is the Super 32 early entry list. This is as factual as we can get right now.
2. The next source is the “word on the street”.
3. There will be many returning state champions and place winners that are not on this first ranking because I have no idea if they are wrestling, still a WV resident or what they weigh.
4. The wrestlers are listed in alphabetical order and not my opinion of who is better. They will be listed by Name/School/Last Season’s Finish/Source/Region.
5. Some weight classes are left blank because of no facts or educated guesses of who might be in the given weight class.
6. Input that can be backed up is wanted. Either comment or inbox me.

Can Fullerton make 182 if Amos ends the season at 195? Or would he go 220?

From an even more reliable source, there will be zero Irizarrys wrestling for South

I believe Ford at 98 is an 8th grader
(and, not that it matters, but I believe Windland was only state runner-up two times and place 3rd or 5th the other, I didn't look it up)
I agree with Gator about his projected lineup, with Hinzman possibly moving up to 160.

Re: AAA Individual Rankings - October 11
The word on the street is that all of Souths returning wrestlers have been drafted directly to the pros. So according to Wvssac they r no longer eligible to wrest in high school
Re: AAA Individual Rankings - October 11
Also on a much better note. the Wvssac has made a bid and is favored to win said bid to replace the
NCAA as the governoring body over college athletics.
