AAA 113 - The Stage is Set

Postby Bearhugger » Thu Feb 16, 2017 12:57 am

AAA region 4 has SIX ranked wrestlers. At least two will not qualify.

AAA region 3 only has four wrestlers. All four qualify now. One doesn't even have to win a match.

We need a new system.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

If parents truly loved their kids, they would simply move to an area where their kids can be more successful.

Oh wait that already happens.

It is called life. I moved from WV in 1991 for employment reasons. Since that time, 1,000s have done the same. That is what happens when the "this is how it has always been, why change now" attitude wins out. There are some communities and corresponding schools that obviously do not care about wrestling. These areas are not a good place to be if you want your child to wrestle.

Depends on how you look at it I guess. Perception. One might say teams in these Region 2 schools were more successful because they got their kids qualified easier.

My post was sarcastic in nature.

WVSSAC has rules to "level the playing field", but they seem to choose the ones they want to enforce.

Region 4, 113 is worth the price of admission. Every kid there is good and can beat each other, given a break or two. Every match will be a battle! Good luck to all
