From my understanding it was an "administration decision" due to weather.

The wvnorth that we represent will be at Cameron but another wvnorth team wrestled at Beckely today n wondered where EF was. EF made our tourney better but made Beckely a little less challenging. I think you got a great team, I was just asking.

It was the decision of Marion County Superintendent Gary L.Price that both East Fairmont and North Marion wrestling teams would not be permitted to travel to Beckley to participate in the WV Army National Guard Tournament due to hazardous road conditions that forced the closure of Marion County Schools 2 hours early on Thursday. Marion County school policy does not permit athletic teams to travel on the first day of a closure due to weather. If you do a check of the Marion County high school basketball teams that were scheduled to play today you will find that all of those games were cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.
