Hi, everyone. I'm Ryan DeBee and I'm the Head Coach for Robert Morris University Wrestling. As many of you may know, I am a graduate of Oak Glen High School and have wrestled in their program from pee-wees onward. I want to take a minute to talk about the wrestling program I started myself at RMU. The RMU Wrestling Club Team was established in the Fall Semester of 2015. The purpose of this program was to give students an opportunity to participate in a collegiate wrestling program, an opportunity that they most likely did not have beforehand. The wrestling team is a member of the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA). RMU Wrestling is currently a DII program under the NCWA. We are looking for wrestlers that want to go to a great school. We may not have scholarships wrestling-wise, but Robert Morris itself offers many scholarships, grants, and academic awards. It is the lowest-costing private institution in the state of PA and their out-of-state costs are nowhere near as expensive as other schools. Some of these kids in high school now may not have the opportunity to wrestle in college. That's what we're here for. We can give these guys an opportunity to win a national title. The team here is growing, and it's growing quickly. So much, that RMU is considering adding a DI NCAA Wrestling program. Please spread the word that we have a team here, and that we are another option for wrestlers!
Thank You,
Ryan A. DeBee

Re: RMU Wrestling
Congratulations Ryan!!!You have worked hard on this for quite some time. You’ve succeeded in establishing a wrestling team for a college who did not have one. I wish it had happened sooner so you could have wrestled on the team too but you’ll be a great coach. Great job Ryan!!!

Thanks Jim!! It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. But it was all worth it. Hard Work = Confidence = Success: I had this mindset instilled onto me back at OG and it stuck with me. And who knows, it may not be with the team, but I might be stepping back onto the mat here soon.
