The new region 4 has the top 5 AAA returning state placing teams. Has that happened in region 1 in the past?

I was just looking at the website's current entries. I wonder if anyone at NHSCA checks the place finishes for the wrestler? Would be easy to say you are a state champion, or a sixth place finisher for that matter, if nobody checks. I assume they use this info for seeding?

Based on the latest polls it looks likes every region had upsets. Will be interesting to see how things work out at states. Tough group for sure.

I knew it was done by a committee but I didn't think it would consist of coaches who have kids competing. Seems a little sketchy but maybe that's how all tournaments are done. Interesting for sure.
