The fact is that over recent years there are WV state champions in the record book that are there by mistake. The same can be said for various sports. even professional and college level. It is much easier for those in charge to let it happen than to loose credibility and an official making the call...

I watch this happening at WSAZs this weekend with a facemask. In a finals match, the wrestler could stop at will and take time to adjust and rest without and injury time out multiple times. He never seemed to get out of adjustment when he was on the offensive.

Petersburg for one

I think there will be to many finals match ups that will be the first time the two wrestlers have competed in high school due to weight class changes to predict a winner. I will guess that there will be more A/AA champs than AAA.

Corey Secrist broke his schools win record last night when he hit 155 and went on to win 2 more. He is undefeated so far this year. It was fortunate that it was a home match for his fans. way to go Corey!!

I will have the privilege to travel with a wv h.s. senior to various universities that show interest in him for their wrestling program. What questions should we ask? What should we be looking for? Some are out of state. We have singled out schools that have the right academic programs.
