Looks like Parker Bentley of mussleman is competing at 220. Cabell Midland’s Ethan Cochran lost to edge 3-1 on Tuesday. I haven’t found anything for Woodrow Wilson yet.

Point has a great program, top to bottom. The bonecutters and other coaches have done a great job of building this. They have several youth teams that feed into their middle school. Milton might be interested. We had to go to Ohio to find one, it’s good to get one in before WSAZ’s so kids understand how a bracketed tournament works.

Same could be said about the football state championship being held in wheeling. These things are determined and bid on years in advance. I think it would be very hard to get this changed anytime soon

Thanks coach. We try to get out and wrestle good competition, can't get any better wrestling the same kids over and over. These kids have been working hard, just have to finish the season strong.

Point came in first beating Milton 43-40 in a tight dual
West fairmont came in 3rd
Huntington came in 4th

When will pools be released?

Is anyone hosting a tournament on January 17 and/or 18? Haven’t seen a whole lot so I’m checking what’s out there.

Hopefully they split up the 1 and 2 from each region

I was very happy with the officials we had yesterday. You will not find much better officiating around our state than the guys we had yesterday. Those are 4 officials you will see reffing the high school state finals on Saturday night in two weeks.
